Both Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers and actress Shailene Woodley have spoken about their relationship that ended with a broken-off engagement, after a romance that included a lot of public moments on social media.
But in a recent appearance on the Not Just Football podcast with fellow Steeler Cam Heyward -- in which he talked more about his wife Brittani
-- he said something else about Woodley that has gone viral.As USA TODAY Sports summed it up, after their engagement, he claims "she expressed interest in being intimate with another unnamed man prior to their wedding." Here's more as transcribed by USA TODAY:
"Her story is I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her, but the actuality is, she told me that [statement]
and she took off the ring by March," Rodgers said. "I proposed in December, took off the ring by March, and we had a couple of times when we tried to get reunited and nothing ever happened, and there wasn’t even a relationship in '22 to break off."
