Is Jimmy Kimmel Live! coming to an end in 2027 after more than two decades on the air?
A bombshell report Page Six report suggested that Kimmel's contract was not being renewed past this upcoming 2026-27 season. However, ABC told USA TODAY in a statement that this report was not accurate.
"This information is inaccurate – any reports about the future of the show at this point are purely speculative," the statement read.
Kimmel signed a new contract with ABC last December, one that is set to end in May 2027.
We're not sure what's going to happen with Kimmel, but ABC refuting the Page Six report does leave us in confusion for what may actually happen with Kimmel's long-running late night program.
Who would replace Kimmel if his show actually ended?
ABC does not have a second late night program, so there
would not be a natural successor.
