Fullback Kyle Juszczyk played a pivotal role in the San Francisco 49ers' 35-13 rout over the Miami Dolphins last Sunday, scoring a 6-yard touchdown reception from Brock Purdy. He hit his famous "Juice" celebration in the end zone, getting him into some hot water with the NFL in the process.
The NFL reportedly fined Juszczyk $14,926 for what it deemed to be an "offensive demonstration." Juszczyk, who's done the celebration for years as an ode to his nickname "Juice," is appealing the fine, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
“Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,” the NFL wrote in a letter to Juszczyk, per Schefter.
While Juszczyk's celebration involves chugging,
he doesn't indicate what he's hypothetically drinking, making the fine -- and particularly the timing -- quite puzzling. Teammate George Kittle and JJ Watt were among the many to chime in defending Juszczyk after the fine.

For a guy whose nickname is Juice, could it not be “reasonably construed” that he is drinking… stay with me here… Juice?
It's unclear whether Juszczyk will win his appeal, but he sure could buy a ton of juice with $14,926.
