It's a bit hard to talk about the full fantasy football fallout for the rumored Marvin Harrison Jr. trade, given that we don't know where he's going yet as of publishing this (that hasn't stopped us from speculating where he MIGHT be going).
But we do know that Harrison Jr. will be inactive this week ahead of a Week 5 matchup against the Detroit Lions (which, ironically, might have been a great spot for Harrison Jr. to flourish, oh well). And if a trade is being finalized, it might mean that by next week, we'll know what this means for the Cardinals.
But let's summarize it here: This is huge news for Michael Wilson, who had already become the WR1 in Arizona before this deal. Yes, tight end Trey McBride is arguably the No. 1 target in the passing
game. But Wilson has just one fewer target than McBride and 16 more yards right now. Harrison Jr. only saw 12 targets in four games in 2026, but Wilson now gets even more of a boost in the Cardinals' passing game.
It might be a tiny boost for Kendrick Bourne (who had eight catches for 75 yards in Week 1). But the focus here is on Wilson, who will cement himself as a WR2 the rest of the season with this trade.
