Legendary actor Tim Curry has died at 80, USA TODAY has confirmed.
Curry brought a generational gravitas to the stage and screen, perhaps best known for his explosive turn as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show and its film companion The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
His macabre smirk and zestful bravado showed in every performance, whether he was singing along the Muppets as a pirate in Muppet Treasure Island or navigating a murder mystery as the butler in Clue.
