Did former White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia really speak to LSU football on Saturday morning before its 31-0 home victory over Mississippi State?
No, she did not. A fake LSU account pretending to be LSU assistant coach George McDonald shared an AI-generated photo of Tigers coach Lane Kiffin, Zacharia and McDonald with the caption "Thank you to my friend, attorney [Zacharia] for talking to [LSU football] this morning about getting back up after getting knocked down."
Of course, this is not true. Zacharia did not speak to LSU on Saturday. She indicated as much in a social media comment on the fake post. The fake account is "George MacDonald," which is an intentional misspelling.
Again, this is not a real post; this is very, very fake.

It's very troubling that posts like this can just go viral. What a world we live in these days.
Who does LSU play next?
The team plays at Auburn at noon ET next Saturday.
