An important AFC East divisional game to the New England Patriots wasn't the only thing the Buffalo Bills lost on Sunday. For the second time in as many weeks, No. 1 receiver DJ Moore had to leave the field with a shoulder injury. For a Buffalo offense relying on the possession receiver's skill set, you could understand why this is a big deal for everything the Bills want to accomplish on offense.
Fortunately for Buffalo, they got a rather promising update on Moore's status on Sunday evening.
As it turns out, per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Moore aggravated the same shoulder injury he originally hurt during an early-season Thursday night victory over the Detroit Lions. However, the Bills do not believe Moore's injury is serious or of the long-term variety,
which is obviously good news:

Of course, you'll note the language in Schefter's report. Moore's injury isn't long-term, but it doesn't mean he won't miss time. In fact, based on that wording, I would venture to guess that Moore might be likely to miss an upcoming Monday night road matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. That's a huge bummer. Alas, the Bills are probably just happy Moore won't be out for too long.
