Amid persistent struggles for long-time kicker Harrison Butker, the Kansas City Chiefs signed Justin Tucker, who once faced 16 sexual misconduct allegations from massage therapists in the Baltimore area, as insurance. In the Chiefs' Week 8 loss to the Denver Broncos, the Tucker addition rightfully drew the ire of CBS's Jim Nantz and J.J. Watt.
This Sunday, after another Butker miss at the end of the first half against the New York Jets, Watt once again took the Chiefs to task for bringing Tucker in and inviting inherent controversy upon themselves. Watt maintained that if the Chiefs were going to add someone like Tucker with his off-field issues, they should at least play him instead of letting Butker look like the NFL's worst kicker week in and week out.
Per Watt, it doesn't make much sense to open that can of worms with Tucker and do nothing in response while Butker keeps struggling and earning deserved boos from Chiefs fans:

Watt's point is salient. It's hard to argue with his logic:
"I don't know why you bring him in and invite those distractions if you're not going to make that change." - J.J. Watt after Justin Tucker was shown on the sideline after another missed FG by Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.

It's not an ideal situation at all, but the least the Chiefs could do is make the change at kicker and play Tucker if they're going to have him in their building in the first place. After Butker's seventh miss of the season by early November, it boggles the mind that they still haven't done so.
