Let's face it: The Los Angeles Chargers offense is a mess right now. You've got injuries hitting the wide receiver room hard, you've got an offensive line that had to start multiple rookies last week and an embattled quarterback who's getting hit with trade rumors.
But let's focus on Kimani Vidal for a moment. You'll recall he showed flashes of talent last year as the Chargers' RB1 while Omarion Hampton was injured, and on Sunday, he had eight carries for 57 yards that included 42 yards on one long touchdown run.
So should you prioritize Vidal as you prepare for the waiver wire ahead of Week 6?

The answer is: Sure, if you need some running back help, you might as well roll the dice with Vidal. The past two weeks have proven that Vidal is a bigger part of this backfield and he's been more productive than Hampton and Keaton Mitchell. It may take an injury to one of those two for Vidal to have a bigger role, but in a week without a ton of running back options off the wire, you might as well roster and hope that the Chargers give him the ball more.
