The Pittsburgh Steelers faced the Saints on Sunday at Paris' Stade de France, so naturally, they arrived to the game dressed as characters from ... a British TV show?
Make it make sense.
Ahead of the Steelers' eventual win in the NFL's first-ever game played in Paris, Aaron Rodgers led his teammates to the stadium in Peaky Blinders-themed suits and newsboy caps. It may have been an early Halloween costume idea, but the Steelers do host the Browns on Nov. 1. That would have been plenty close enough for pregame costumes instead of this game in Paris.
Even the Steelers' Twitter/X account promoted the decidedly Not French outfit choice.

Fans, of course, had jokes because what was even the point
of that decision for pregame fits?
This is like if a European soccer team went to Pittsburgh and posted about cheesesteaks. https://t.co/kECXNxqUWB
