Week 1 is in the books, and Week 2 begins with what should be an exciting Thursday Night Football showdown in the first Prime Video broadcast of the season.
After coming back to beat Houston on the road with a Josh Allen touchdown pass in the final two minutes, the Buffalo Bills (1-0) are looking to notch another win in the first game at their new Highmark Stadium. It will be a tough win to get, however, as they face another possible playoff team in the Detroit Lions (1-0).
Detroit went to overtime in its opener against the Saints last week but held on after stopping a would-be game-winning two-point conversion.

The Bills were facing what was expected to be one of the NFL's best defenses last week, and their offense shined. Josh Allen threw for 334 yards and two touchdowns, and while the defense gave up 274 yards to CJ Stroud, it held the Texans' run game under four yards per carry on 32 attempts.
The Lions defense certainly faces some questions after allowing 410 yards from Tyler Shough in Week 1, though that did take an overtime period and 56 pass attempts for him to hit. The pass game was efficient, and Jahmyr Gibbs went off for 156 yards and two touchdowns on the ground with 30 more yards through the air.
Buffalo will probably give up some points in this game, but I think it will score enough to win and cover as it christens the new stadium.
