In terrible news that was surfaced on Tuesday, musician, actress and businesswoman Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80. Parton's family revealed that the iconic singer behind popular hits such as "Jolene," "9 to 5," and "Coat of Many Colors," among so many others, had passed away.
Following the news, Parton's nephew, Bryan Seaver, sent a message on behalf of the Parton and Owens family, officially announcing it and addressing all of Parton's longtime fans. He explained that Parton had asked him for this "years ago, before he fully absorbed it as a future reality."

It was an incredible video from Seaver, who also highlighted a few notes that Parton had mentioned to him. This
included her telling him that she wants to "rest in a beautiful bed of plush cotton, because after a life of wearing heavy rhinestones, she finally deserves to be comfortable and have some rest."
