You don't often get to meet the future king of England, and you definitely don't often get to use that opportunity to take a picture that will serve as your first official picture as a couple. Such was the case, however, for Travis Kelce as his photo with then-girlfriend Taylor Swift with Prince William and his children, George and Charlotte.
Prince William joked about the 2024 interaction recently as a guest on the Graham Norton Show. "I hadn’t appreciated the significance — and actually, I was trying to move him out of the photo," he said of the hard launch picture. "But Travis kept coming back in, and I couldn’t work out why he kept coming back in,” he quipped. “I was trying to move him out so it was just me and Taylor and the children."
Kelce
was a great sport about the quip, joking back in this week's episode of the New Heights podcast with big brother Jason.

"I was just a boyfriend at that point, you know," Kelce joked in a deprecating way. "I wasn't her husband YET."
"We don’t really know if this is gonna last, so it’s kinda just move out of the way real quick so we can keep this photo forever," Kelce continued. "Yeah. Hopefully, this doesn’t go south. Otherwise, this photo is not gonna be as good."
Kelce and Swift got married in July of 2026, making the photo with the future king a keeper.
