The Cleveland Guardians will host the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday night, and as you might know, there's no dome or roof over Progressive Field in Cleveland. So if there's rain in the forecast for the ALCS Game 4, it's a concern.
So what's the forecast? As of publishing this around 5 p.m. ET, here's what we know: Per the Weather Channel, there's a 68 percent chance of showers at 8 p.m., and it looks like more showers might come at 10 p.m. and beyond.
Is it possible that the game could be rain delayed or postponed? We'll see. Stay tuned for more updates here.
Low 50s, north wind, model still shows rain in the area at 8 then transition to bursts of lake of effect rain. I'd be surprised if it goes uninterrupted. Bullpen game seems like a good strategy.#cleveland

We'll update this post with more information as we get it.
Is the Cleveland weather forecast affecting the starting pitching for both the Guardians and Rays?
It may have. The Guardians will open with Shawn Armstrong and a bullpen game is the plan.
