Even going back to his college days at Kansas, Buccaneers rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels would pick Aaron Rodgers as his biggest football inspiration. On Sunday, he got to play against Rodgers.
And the postgame exchange between the two quarterbacks did not disappoint.
The Buccaneers released some mic'd-up footage from the handshake between Daniels and Rodgers following the Steelers' overtime win. And while the full conversation wasn't included, we got to hear a cool moment as Daniels was nervously going to ask Rodgers for his jersey.
Before Daniels could even finish his sentence, Rodgers jumped in and said he was going to send the undrafted rookie his jersey. He wanted Daniels' jersey in return to complete the swap.

"I'm going to send it over," Rodgers said mid-sentence to Daniels.
Heading into Week 7, Daniels is expected to start against the Panthers as Baker Mayfield works towards a return from his thumb injury.
