We'll have to see how superstitious Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is because after a game like Sunday, he might have found his new pregame ritual.
A painful one, at that.
Ahead of the Bengals' thrilling Week 8 win over the Titans, footage from warmups showed the Bengals receiver taking a wayward throw right to the face. Higgins was seemingly taking in the atmosphere at Paycor Stadium and didn't realize the throw was coming his way before a direct hit to the noggin. He grabbed his head but eventually laughed off the blooper.
He went on to have a monster day with two touchdowns and 155 yards on 10 receptions. After the game, reporters showed Higgins the video, and he was such a great sport about the mishap.

Higgins took it a bit further with a somewhat NSFW reaction to the video on Twitter/X.
Nice to see that he can laugh at himself. That's always fun. He'll have to keep his head on a swivel for now on during pregame warmups.
