Heated Rivalry took the world by storm in November of 2025, with Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams starring in the Crave-HBO series based on the popular book series by Rachel Reid. The first season followed rival hockey players Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) and Shane Hollander (Williams) as the navigate their professional careers amidst a budding relationship. The second season is filming now, and the cast additions are starting to round out.
According to Variety, Heated Rivalry is adding five new faces to the mix for Season 2. Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek), Edvin Ryding (28 Years Later), Robert Naylor (Mile End Kicks), Sabrina Jalees (Black Mirror), and Priyanka (Drag Brunch Saved My Life) are all reportedly joining the series. There were already
two names announced -- Justice Smith (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves) and Charlie Gillespie (One Night Only) -- as joining the second season.
When is the Heated Rivalry Season 2 release date?
The second season of Heated Rivalry is expected to drop in the spring of 2027.
