Fans generally underestimate how difficult of a job it is to work an NFL broadcast on live TV. No matter the announcer, mistakes will inevitably happen.
But former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner found himself hearing it from Steelers fans on Sunday after he repeatedly messed up the name of Steelers running back Jaylen Warren.
Warner was working NFL Network's Paris game between the Saints and Steelers, and after Warren had himself a big play, Warner misstated Jaylen's name on multiple occasions. In his breakdown, Warner referred to Jaylen Warren as "Tyler Warren" who plays tight end for the Indianapolis Colts.
"Not when you've got Tyler Warren on the field... Nobody better in the league at the running back spot of yards-after-catch than Tyler Warren."

It's a rough mistake to make multiple times, and it's the kind of slip-up that no announcer wants. But Warner did take to social media after the game to acknowledge his blunder. He took responsibility and added that he's a huge fan of Jaylen's game.
Yes, I called JAYLEN Warren “Tyler” today after calling Colts game & referencing him in today’s game…

My bad, so sorry… it’s stinks as an announcer when you do that & unfortunately it won’t be my last time bc sometimes u just react & misspeak!
I own it… and JAYLEN was…
The production crew also didn't do Warner any favors by letting the mistake happen more than once. But credit to the Hall of Famer for owning it. Live TV is tough.
