From the moment the Rams acquired Myles Garrett from the Browns, it seemed inevitable that Sunday's announcement would come.
Aaron Donald is coming back out of retirement for the 2026 season and joining the Rams.
Donald — the three-time Defensive Player of the Year and 10-time Pro Bowler — retired after the 2023 season. But the now-35-year-old stayed in shape just in case his desire to play again returned. Speculation about his return to football went from rumors to a formality when Donald worked out for the Rams multiple times during training camp.
According to Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport, Donald is signing a one-year, $20 million deal with Los Angeles. And the star pass rusher only needed four words to make his announcement on Instagram.
"We back #Rams #Ready," he wrote.
Opposing quarterbacks won't love seeing that post. That's for sure.
