Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season is nearly over. And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead for the next week of games to see if you can improve your squad. Maybe you have a spot open due to an injury or you're rethinking a player you took.
That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 5 in fantasy football.
Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we'll update this after Monday Night Football.
RB Tank Bigsby, Philadelphia Eagles
He's probably the first in line for carries with Saquon Barkley injuring his hamstring, so he could end up with the lion's share of carries if
the vet misses time.
RB Will Shipley, Philadelphia Eagles
Shipley had fewer carries than Bigsby after Barkley's exit, so he's the second priority when it comes to replacing Barkley. Still, Shipley could bring more value than you think.
WR Roman Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers
He was on your radar after he scored in Week 3, but now, after his 74 yards and a touchdown against the Browns on Thursday, he's firmly a waiver wire target this week if Aaron Rodgers keeps looking his way.
WR Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills
The DJ Moore injury could mean Coleman will get WR1 work in Buffalo, and he did this past week with six catches on seven targets for 116 yards to go along with a touchdown.
WR Khalil Shakir, Buffalo Bills
He caught seven passes for 82 yards in the loss to the Patriots, so he'd also have a bigger role in the offense with Moore out.
QB Tyler "Snoop" Huntley, Baltimore Ravens
If Lamar Jackson misses time due to an injury, Huntley could step in and do well with an offense that's got stars like Zay Flowers. He'd be a decent fill-in QB in a pinch.
TE Mike Gesicki, Cincinnati Bengals
The injuries to Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins could mean more of what we saw from the tight end on Sunday (three catches, 40 yards and a touchdown).
TE Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars
Maybe more big days are in store after a seven-catch, 95-yard day against the Bengals.
