As uncertainty remains around the New York Giants' quarterback position, fans have seen essentially every possible option thrown around. Names like Shedeur Sanders, Jimmy Garoppolo and several others have been pitched by various analysts and media outlets as a potential replacement for Jaxson Dart following his season-ending knee injury.
While this largely stems from Jameis Winston's struggles after stepping in for Dart in a Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, there's little doubt the Giants will give Winston the first crack. However, if Winston continues to struggle, it would obviously make sense for the Giants to consider alternate routes; but unfortunately, one of those options will not be retired quarterback Derek Carr.
When a photoshopped
image of Carr in a Giants jersey surfaced, the former New Orleans Saints and Raiders quarterback offered a comical response.

It's hard not to give credit to Carr for his honesty. The 35-year-old quarterback's retirement in summer 2025 came as a surprise, and there have been rumblings around his potential return in the right situation. However, that buzz came last season and has since died down. Now, Carr sounds like he's content being a family man and, of course, enjoying some time gaming.
