The Philadelphia Eagles had a scary moment in the second quarter of their Monday Night Football game after quarterback Jalen Hurts was hit hard and had to exit the field in a pivotal moment.
Hurts was hit by Chicago Bears linebacker D'Marco Jackson while he was running out of bounds, causing the Eagles quarterback to hit the turf hard and stay down on the field for a few seconds. Hurts was able to get up on his own power and was seemingly going to stay in the game before being pulled by concussion spotters ahead of the Eagles' next play.
While Hurts was off in the blue medical tent getting looked at, backup quarterback Andy Dalton subbed in for the Eagles. Unfortunately, while the Eagles looked to be knocking on the door for a touchdown, Dalton threw
an interception in the end zone while Hurts was in the medical tent, taking away a golden opportunity for Philadelphia to get on the board.
Immediately after the interception, Hurts exited the medical tent cleared of a concussion, but looked furious doing so.

According to ESPN's broadcast, there was a delay in the process that caused Hurts to be in the medical tent for longer than expected, which is why he didn't return for the Eagles before Dalton's unfortunate interception.
It's not often Hurts is that animated on the sideline, so a delay that kept him off the field in a key situation is a pretty understandable reason to be upset. Hurts did return to the field for the Eagles and led the team down the field the next drive for a touchdown before the half.
