Basketball fans should expect to see a lot of Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers on the court together when the FIBA Women's World Cup begins on Friday.
Both WNBA players are set to headline Team USA's roster in their first World Cup this September alongside other stars like Angel Reese, Napheesa Collier and Aliyah Boston. The league currently is on break for the next few weeks as the international tournament gets underway in Berlin, Germany.
Ahead of the World Cup, Clark and Bueckers were both asked about what it's like to play alongside the other, as the two are often talked about together as recent No. 1 overall WNBA picks for their respective franchises. Unsurprisingly, both had high praise for the other, stating that they have great on-court
chemistry that they look forward to utilizing as the tournament progresses.
Not only that, Bueckers had stellar things to say about Clark's Indiana Fever teammate and 2023 No. 1 overall pick Aliyah Boston, who also will be competing in her first World Cup.

Given that the last World Cup was in 2022, fans of Team USA will have a lot of exciting new talent to cheer for on the international stage this year.
