Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham received a hard foul from Chicago Sky forward DiJonai Carrington on Saturday in Chicago that left Carrington ejected from the game.
As Cunningham got a clear breakaway on the basket, Carrington chased her down and made unnecessary arm contact with Cunningham's face as the latter fell to the ground.
Cunningham immediately got up and had words for Carrington and was held back by teammate Makayla Timpson. Once the moment calmed on the court, the referees reviewed the call and gave Carrington a Flagrant 2 foul that left her ejected from the game.
The ABC broadcast team of Rebecca Lobo and Ryan Ruocco predicted the outcome before the official call came in.
