Taylor Swift became the youngest member inducted to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on Monday night, accepting the award in front of some of the biggest names in country music. Before giving her speech, Swift was introduced by country singer Brad Paisley and the 14-time Grammy winner took a moment to end a longstanding feud between the two.
"I’m really surprised to see you here, actually, because we’ve been estranged since 2007," Swift jokingly said after thanking Paisley for the introduction. "I think you know why. Crickets. He took a tour prank too far. Filled my entire tour bus with live crickets. Thousands of them."
"For months, I couldn’t sleep. Just chirp… chirp… chirp — all night," Swift continued. "I considered buying a pet lizard
to eradicate the problem. It was a dark time. But you know what? You did such an amazing job with that introduction; I think we can let bygones be bygones."

This is Swift's second honor this year alone for her songwriting, as the singer was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June, becoming the youngest woman to earn the honor.
