Megan Moroney played just three songs earlier this week at a concert in Denver and then had to stop the show. What happened? It turned out she was sick and couldn't continue performing.
As someone captured on TikTok, a hoarse Moroney took to the mic and spoke to the audience and got tearful: “This is obviously the last thing that I ever wanted to do, but I am obviously extremely sick and I thought I did everything to make myself better then obviously, two songs in... I just can’t play this show tonight."
“I will make it up to you guys," she added. “I love you and I’m really sorry."

Moroney added this on an Instagram Story, via USA TODAY:
"I'm so sorry to cancel the show tonight," the "Tennessee Orange" singer wrote in her statement on Instagram. "I never ever will give you guys a show that is not 100% and I knew that I was not capable of giving that to you tonight. I'm typing this as I'm quite literally bawling my eyes out in my dressing room & it hurts me to disappoint you all."
Was Megan Moroney's Denver show be rescheduled?
Yes. It'll be on Aug. 27. Tickets from the canceled show will be honored and those who can't make it will get a refund.
