Tim Curry, the award-winning actor who was an icon on the stage as well as in movies like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Muppet Treasure Island, Annie, Clue and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, died at the age of 80. His manager confirmed Curry's death with CBS News.
What was the cause of death? None was given in any of the reports about his passing. Curry suffered a stroke in 2012 and spoke about being in a wheelchair at a Rocky Horror Picture Show celebration in September 2025.
"I still can't walk, which is why I'm in this silly chair, and that's very limiting," he said, via USA TODAY. "So I won't be singing and I won't be dancing very soon. I still have real problems with my left leg."
