ABC News on Friday shared footage showing a Filipino fisherman struggling to remove a large octopus from his face.
The octopus is so persistent, and relentlessly sticky, that the fisherman tries using a club to bat the octopus without striking his own head.

The footage, posted below, goes to show that when you haul up a highly intelligent mollusk with eight powerful arms lined with suckers, you should handle your catch with extraordinary care.
