While fans were treated to a Sunday night class between Louisville and Ole Miss, it was a back-and-forth just before halftime that summed up one of the most chaotic finishes in recent memory. Michigan's walk-off victory over Western Michigan on Saturday has become the most controversial ending in sports, so much so that announcers Greg McElroy and Sean McDonough had to throw a few jabs of their own.
Michigan had initially lost to Western Michigan, it seemed, until officials put one second back on the clock in what proved to be a highly debated decision. Michigan used that extra second to connect on a Hail
Mary to steal the win, sending shockwaves through the college football landscape.
Just as halftime hit between Louisville and Ole Miss, McElroy kick-started the trolling of that decision when the refs initially were close to putting one second back on the clock, as Awful Announcing revealed.

McElroy first jumped in with the "stop me if you've heard this before" and doubled down after Ole Miss nearly had to return to the field just to take a knee by suggesting they should "just throw a Hail Mary," an obvious jab at the Michigan ending.
