December 15, 2024: That was the last time Sauce Gardner had played for the winning team in an NFL game on U.S. soil. And the nearly two years must have felt like forever for the Colts cornerback.
But on Sunday, that astounding drought finally came to an end. Best of all: It was clear that Gardner knew all about it.
Gardner started last season with the Jets and was inactive when New York got its first win after that 0-7 start. And then, he was dealt to the Colts where he was part of a win in Week 10 against the Falcons ... in Berlin. The Colts then lost out in their final seven games. That brought us to Sunday.

The Colts finally put an end to their nine-game losing streak
across two seasons and beat the Texans in a game that was played in the United States. Gardner's reaction was too good.

He waited nearly two years to tweet that. The weight has officially been lifted off.
It's a good thing he got that win too because the Colts head to London this week to face the Commanders. He won't have to hear about that drought anymore.
