It's been a rough NFL season for starting quarterbacks due to injuries, and in Week 4, fans saw another high-profile name added to the list. Baltimore Ravens
quarterback Lamar Jackson, who's off to an impressive start through four games, suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans. While there's been obvious concern about the severity, Jackson appears to have avoided a worst-case scenario, but some uncertainty remains. As NFL Network's Ian Rapoport first reported, Jackson suffered a sprained ankle and has "only an outside chance to play" in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. He also avoided surgery and the injury isn't considered "long-term," per the report.
That's the good news. However, Rapoport also added that
Jackson could miss multiple games depending on "how rehab goes."

It is interesting that Jackson still has a chance to play this week, especially since the possibility of him missing multiple games is still on the table. Obviously, Jackson's ankle could quickly trend in the right direction, but if you had to guess, it sounds more likely than not that he'll sit out at least Sunday night's game in Atlanta.
