Donald Trump is in Knoxville today for the biggest college football game of the week, as No. 1 Texas is visiting No. 14 Tennessee.
The sitting United States president did a pregame flyover at Neyland Stadium, then found his way to a suite and got introduced to moderate applause after Texas' first touchdown. The crowd is certainly energized as it's Tennessee's opportunity to knock off a No. 1-ranked team for the first time since beating Bo Jackson and Auburn back in 1985.

Trump's presence will have an effect on the teams' communication today. As Texas coach Steve Sarkisian noted this week, anytime the president moves in the stadium, headset communication is cut.
It's certainly a big adjustment for the much-anticipated SEC opener.
Has Donald Trump attended college football games before?
Yes. Trump attended Georgia vs. Alabama in Tuscaloosa back in 2018, and he also attended the national championship games in 2018 and 2020. He left each of those games prior to their conclusions.
