The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys clash on Sunday Night Football to open their respective seasons, and both enter the year with reasonable hype around what their offenses can do. That's good news for Week 1 touchdown bettors.
Dallas has proof of concept after a season where they finished second in yards and seventh in scoring, with Dak Prescott dealing to a receiving corps led by CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. The Giants have glimpses of what's possible after Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo energized their offense as rookies.
Add to that a couple defenses that struggled, and the points could come in bunches Sunday night. Below are my favorite picks to reach the end zone.
CeeDee Lamb (+130)
Last season was the first time since Lamb's rookie year that he didn't
score in at least one of the two games versus New York, but it wasn't for a lack of opportunity. Though Dallas' starters sat the last game against the Giants, Lamb had a team-high nine catches for 112 yards in their Week 2 meeting.
Jaxson Dart (+210)
Quarterbacks found success on the ground against Dallas last season, scoring a league-high eight rushing touchdowns. Especially with the attention Cam Skattebo is sure to attract, Dart could find similar success after rushing for nine touchdowns in 2025. In his lone game against Dallas, he carried the ball five times for 32 yards.
Javonte Williams (-145)
I also like Cam Skattebo (+100) if the Giants can stay in a positive game script, but that's more of a question than it is for Dallas, which is why I'm rolling with the game-favorite Williams. New York's run defense could be better than it was last year, when Williams rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown against them, but they'll have to prove it in a game where Williams will get chances.
