It's been a whirlwind stretch of quarterback injuries in the NFL, especially for Chicago Bears signal-caller Caleb Williams
and the team's fanbase. After Williams went down in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings with a non-contact injury, it was understandable that many assumed the worst but hoped for the best. Thankfully, the injury wasn't as bad as it initially looked, and he was later diagnosed with a hamstring injury. However, hamstring injuries can be tricky, especially at the quarterback position, so the actual timeline for Williams' potential return has remained up in the air. On Tuesday, ESPN's Ian Rapoport joined The Pat McAfee Show and provided some clarity on his timeline.
"It certainly seems like Caleb Williams is unlikely
to start this week and next week we will see..." Rapoport said. "...2-4 weeks is generally the diagnosis for these kind of hamstring injuries"

Obviously, much will depend on how quickly Williams' hamstring injury heals and when he's comfortable moving around in the pocket. While that part remains unknown, this is some positive news for fantasy football owners, as it allows you to plan ahead a bit.
