The Atlanta Dream picked up a crucial Game 2 victory in the 2026 WNBA Finals over the Golden State Valkyries 79-65 on Monday night, sending the series back to Atlanta with the series locked at one game apiece. While the Valkyries' defense stifled the Dream in Game 1, Atlanta found answers on Monday, largely thanks to a stellar night from Angel Reese. Continuing her strong play throughout the season, Reese poured in 30 points with 16 rebounds, three assists and two blocks, while adding on a bit of trash talk in the process.
Early in Game 2, Reese was at the free-throw line, appearing to banter back and forth with the Valkyries' Aminata Gueye. After the two exchanged words, lip readers took over and caught the end of what Reese appeared to say,
