An NFL official was injured in the first quarter of the Week 6 game in London between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans, and needed to be carted off with an apparent lower-body injury.
In between plays, umpire Larry Smith was walking towards the sideline when his leg buckled, sending him falling to the Wembley Stadium ground on his backside. When he attempted to get up and walk, his leg buckled again and he went back down to the ground before the cart was brought out to carry him away.
The nature of his injury or what caused it wasn't immediately clear.
THIS LOOKS LIKE A SERIOUS NON-CONTACT INJURY FOR THE REF.

It seems doubtful that we will see him again this season.

That's an unfortunate injury for Smith.
