Anthony Edwards is never one to bite his tongue; his unfiltered, brutally honest approach has produced some must-see TV moments. And now, the Minnesota Timberwolves star used the intro for his new 'Minnatlantasota' sketch comedy series to throw some jabs at the likes of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season.
In the skit posted by Nice Kicks, Edwards trolls the duo, kicking things off by addressing LeBron's decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
"Speaking of old school, you see where big dog ended up?" Edwards said. "He was gonna join me in Minnesota, but I guess his knees couldn't handle the cold weather. It's cool, though; we know why he really made that decision. Philly got some of the best barbers in the world.
Between him and ol' boy from Boston, they're gonna have a whole lot of enhancements going on in the locker room."

Don't worry, though, the roasting wasn't just contained to the Sixers' new duo, as Edwards even took a light-hearted jab at his own new teammate, LaMelo Ball.
"I'm excited about my new road dog," Edwards said of Ball. "They brought my twin to the Twin Cities. We've been working out together and doing all types of things. But one thing we ain't doing is carpooling if he's driving. I ain't riding with him, y'all."
Edwards also joked about Jalen Brunson and his dad (while praising him for winning a title). Overall, it was well-played, light-hearted banter from the Timberwolves star ahead of the new season, so he gets a tip of the cap for that.
