Well, Johnny Depp is back, and he's Ebenezer Scrooge.
The Pirates of the Caribbean and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory star will return to the silver screen this fall as the Charles Dickens character in Ebenezer, set for theaters on Nov. 13.
To promote the film, Depp wandered around San Diego's Comic Con in character, interacting with the fans and crashing a Comic Con panel in-character. So, if you're wandering why Depp was dressed like Scrooge at Comic Con, this is why. He's promoting a character.
We're not sure how the movie will be, but it's certainly surreal to see Depp at Comic Con dressed as Scrooge.
