The 2026 NFL trade deadline will be here before you know it: on Tuesday, Nov. 10, in fact.
We predicted some pretty outlandish trade ideas earlier in the week, but now, we want to hone in on some more realistic trades ahead of Tuesday's cutoff date for 2026 NFL trades.
Who could be on the move that wouldn't necessarily qualify as an Earth-shattering blockbuster? We'll, these 10 players could all use new homes. The teams trading them would benefit from some draft capital, too.
Let's look at 10 deals we really like for all parties involved.
Eagles CB Riq Woolen to the Bills
The Buffalo Bills could use another starting-caliber cornerback on the roster to shore up its secondary ahead of the 2027 NFL playoffs. Woolen just won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks and knows what it takes
to push in January. For a half-season rental, Buffalo could do really well for itself to trade for Woolen before Tuesday. For a lost season in Philly, this gets ahead of just letting Woolen walk as a free agent for potentially nothing in the spring.
TRADE: Woolen to Buffalo for a 2027 third rounder
Colts WR Josh Downs to the 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers feel destined to make a move for a wide receiver ahead of the 2026 trade deadline. Downs would fit like a glove in Kyle Shanahan's system and would likely net the team a solid comp pick if he left in free agency. If he stuck around, he's a good player for this 49ers offense to grow with in the future. With the injury-plagued state of the San Francisco wideout room, making an aggressive move for Downs would be smart.
TRADE: Downs to San Francisco for a 2027 third rounder and a 2028 sixth rounder
Eagles DT Moro Ojomo to the Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders aren't necessarily an AFC powerhouse, but the team is on the up-and-up with Klint Kubiak as head coach and Fernando Mendoza the quarterback-in-waiting. Some teams who believe in their future will make deals ahead of the trade deadline to get ahead of free agency. We could see the Raiders going ahead and securing Ojomo for the future and trying to extend him before the end of the 2026 season. He's the kind of explosive starter the Raiders could use on their defensive line to help out Maxx Crosby (if Crosby is in Vegas' future plans, that is).
TRADE: Ojomo to Las Vegas for a 2027 fourth rounder and a 2028 fourth rounder
Titans RB Tony Pollard to the Vikings
Pollard probably isn't in Tennessee's long-term plans. The Minnesota Vikings could use more pop in the run game to offset some of the quarterback struggles with Kyler Murray. Minnesota could still get a good running back from the AFC South without throwing the kitchen sink at Indianapolis for Jonathan Taylor.
TRADE: Pollard to Minnesota for two 2027 fifth rounders
Chargers OLB Khalil Mack to the Bears
This just makes too much sense. Mack is a Bears legend who could return to Chicago amid Super Bowl hopes and help push this team over the hump in the NFC. The Chargers aren't going anywhere; why would they keep Mack? Chicago could get a nice boost on the edge from Mack coming off the bench as a rotational defender.
TRADE: Mack to Chicago for a 2027 fifth rounder and a 2028 fifth rounder
Texans WR Kayshon Boutte to the Bears
Another Bears trade? Why not! The team is pushing all the chips in on 2026, but having another deep threat in the passing game would be a smart bet for Chicago. Boutte is a depth option for the Texans who will be a free agent in 2027. The Texans only just traded for Boutte, but it could add another draft pick to the fray before he likely exits in the spring. Chicago's passing attack should be its most lethal element going into the playoffs. Boutte can help. Plus, he just played for the New England Patriots in February's Super Bowl, so he knows what it takes to get there.
TRADE: Boutte to Chicago for a 2028 sixth rounder
Colts WR Keenan Allen to the Steelers
Pittsburgh could take a flier on the veteran Allen, who has still been decently productive for the Colts in a down year. Allen isn't likely to return to Indianapolis in 2027, so a half-season rental with the veteran-heavy Steelers team trying to max out the likely last year of quarterback Aaron Rodgers' NFL career makes sense to us.
TRADE: Allen to Pittsburgh for a 2027 sixth rounder
Colts DT Grover Stewart to the Jaguars
Stewart going to Jacksonville just makes too much sense in the world, especially after the team lost DaVon Hamilton for the season. He could step right in as a stalwart run defender and help slow rushing attacks in the AFC playoffs. Sure, it's an in-division trade, but Stewart is going to be a free agent in 2027. Jacksonville could really use him.
TRADE: Stewart to Jacksonville for a 2027 fifth rounder
Dolphins WR Jalen Tolbert to the Falcons
The Falcons need depth at receiver, and Tolbert has been used sparingly in the Miami offense this season. Atlanta wide receivers coach Robert Prince coached Tolbert in his first three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, including one 610-yard, seven-touchdown season in 2024. Tolbert could push for a larger role in Atlanta offense.
TRADE: Tolbert to Atlanta for a 2028 sixth rounder
Eagles WR Hollywood Brown to the Chiefs
If the Kansas City Chiefs just want a less-costly reunion with a player who helped them win a Super Bowl in the past, the team could send a late-round pick to Philadelphia for Brown. The fit is beyond evident; the reward could be high.
TRADE: Brown to Kansas City for a 2027 fifth rounder
