Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is in a battle for Atlanta's starting role with Michael Penix Jr., so it makes sense that he could use some words of encouragement ahead of Kevin Stefanski's decision.
That encouragement just happened to come from his own Instagram account.
On Tuesday, Tagovailoa's verified Instagram account posted a carousel from his first preseason in Atlanta with the caption, "For the A." It was simple enough. And would have typically gone unnoticed as a generic Instagram post from any athlete.
But fans noticed that something was off in the comment section. Tua's account had commented on the post, and it clearly wasn't supposed to be from Tua's account. The comment read, "We are so proud of you! You got this!!"

Initially, it did look like that Tua had just gotten caught using a burner. But really, it just exposed that Tua's wife, Annah, runs his Instagram account and forgot to switch from Tua's page to her own.
The Tua comment was eventually deleted and replaced with Annah's account writing the same thing.
So, no, it didn't appear that Tua was pulling a Kevin Durant and using a burner. It was just a mix-up from his wife running the account.
