Stan Kroenke is a busy man and now he'll be even busier. The 79-year-old real estate magnate added to his list of professional sports teams by purchasing the Los Angeles Angels from Arte Moreno, according to the Los Angeles Times.
It's the eighth major professional sports team Kroenke has purchased. He's seen major success in several leagues, from the NFL to MLS and the National Lacrosse League. Kroenke's teams have won a Super Bowl, NBA championship, two Stanley Cups, MLS Cup and an NLL championship, plus the latest Premier League championship.
Here's a look at which teams Kroenke is the majority owner of:
- NFL's Los Angeles Rams
- MLB's Los Angeles Angels
- NBA's Denver Broncos
- Premier League's Arsenal
- NHL's Colorado Avalanche
- MLS' Colorado Rapids
- National Lacrosse League's Colorado Mammoth
- Women’s Super League's Arsenal
It's quite an expansive list, and Kroenke doesn't seem to be slowing down as he approaches his 80s.
