Cam Skattebo made headlines this offseason after he botched a backflip during Fanatics Fest while recovering from a leg injury that ended his promising rookie season. Well, it didn't take long for Skattebo to break out another backflip while celebrating an early New York Giants touchdown.
On Sunday, during the Giants' first game of the season against the Dallas Cowboys, Skattebo got New York on the board early with an opening drive touchdown run. And for his celebration, Skattebo hit — and nailed! — a backflip, which looked nothing like his failed attempt back in July coming off of injury.
When Skattebo tried that backflip at Fanatics Fest, he was quickly put in hot water after the clip of his attempt went viral. He eventually told reporters that he does
"some dumb things here and there" and that he's learned his lesson. Ultimately, new Giants head coach John Harbaugh wasn't too bothered by the ordeal as well, which is likely why Skattebo decided to break it out once more for a touchdown celebration.

It seems as if backflips will still be part of Skattebo's life, though probably just on the football field from now on.
