The 2026 NFL season is only two games old and might already be throwing prop bettors for a loop, because the players with the best odds to score in each game failed to reach the end zone. In fact, out of the four teams that have played so far, only the favorite from the Rams, Kyren Williams, scored.
That's the tough part of early-season betting. As clueless as certain games can make bettors feel throughout the year, it doesn't compare to the uncertainty of Week 1. Especially with how sloppy offenses can be to start the year.
Regardless, FTW is making touchdown picks every week of the season, so that starts here. These are my favorite anytime touchdown scorer predictions for each game Sunday:
Buccaneers vs. Bengals
Cade Otton (+280)
The Bengals might've improved their
defensive line but pass coverage is still a concern, and they were torched by tight ends last season.
Saints vs. Lions
Chris Olave (+150)
Jahmyr Gibbs a no-brainer to score but I'll pass on his -340 odds. Besides, a potential negative game script could force the Saints into passing, and there will be opportunities for success against Detroit.
Jets vs. Titans
Breece Hall (+110)
We're getting plus odds on the favorite to score in this game. Plus, the Titans have a lot of new pieces on defense -- including a couple rookies -- who need time to gel.
Ravens vs. Colts
Mark Andrews (+165)
Lamar Jackson’s return to good health is good news for his favorite target. And Andrews has a great matchup against a team that allowed the most catches to tight ends last season.
Falcons vs. Steelers
DK Metcalf (+180)
This is one of the few games I expect Pittsburgh to score a lot, so Metcalf will have chances. Atlanta’s defense is bad and the offense may struggle to sustain drives with a third-string quarterback.
Bears vs. Panthers
Tetairoa McMillan (+165)
Chicago didn’t do much to address it’s lack of a pass rush, which should leave Bryce Young plenty time to find his best pass catcher for six.
Browns vs. Jaguars
Harold Fannin Jr. (+340)
Good luck picking which of Jacksonville’s countless weapons is most likely to score. Instead, I’ll roll with the one reliable security blanked for Deshaun Watson, who could otherwise struggle pushing the ball downfield to anyone else.
Bills vs. Texans
David Montgomery (-105)
One of the league’s worst run defenses a year ago, I have no reason to believe Buffalo will put up more resistance this year.
Dolphins vs. Raiders
Malik Willis (+300)
In his lone start last season, Willis ran for two touchdowns. De’Von Achane and Ashton Jeanty should receive a ton of carries for each team, but I think there’s value with the quarterback.
Packers vs. Vikings
Justin Jefferson (+165)
There are no easy picks in this game but I think the Kyler Murray-to-Jefferson connection will look to make an early-season statement.
Commanders vs. Eagles
Saquon Barkley (-120)
Barkley has scored in eight straight games versus the Commanders going back to 2022.
Cardinals vs. Chargers
Omarion Hampton (-155)
Hampton’s the favorite to score in this game for a reason. The Cards look to be awful against the run again this year.
