An incredibly unfortunate situation went down at West Virginia on Saturday as a Mountaineers cart driver accidentally backed an injured Cincinnati player into a wall.
After Wildcats defensive tackle Josh Hough left the game on a cart with an injury, the West Virginia game staffer driving the cart accidentally backed up a bit too much. Hough went into the wall as a result and grimaced in pain.
It's literally the phrase "insult to injury" come to life. While it's clearly just an accident, we don't think this West Virginia staffer will be allowed to drive the injury cart for the opposing team for the rest of the year.
