New York Liberty legend Breanna Stewart isn't whistled for a technical foul very often, but on Monday night? She earned one after a non-call on what might have been a foul on Angel Reese.
With Reese's Atlanta Dream up by eight in the fourth quarter, Stewart drove to the lane and Reese appeared to poke the ball away as Stewart went up. There was no foul called on the play and Stewart started yelling at an official, who then gave her a technical foul.
Was it a foul? Fans thought so (see below), but it's the technical foul we're focused on here if Stewart gets fined for berating a referee. Stewart told reporters that Reese "slapped [expletive] out of my hand" and "Angel should pay my fine."

Whew. Quite a sequence of events. It would be intriguing to see these two teams play each other in the postseason after all this.
