It's been one day since the announcement, and the Los Angeles Angels' future under soon-to-be new owner Stan Kroenke is already shaping up to be much different from Arte Moreno's ownership.
Among the many blunders that the franchise experiencedunder Moreno's stewardship was that he let the team's aging facilities fall into disrepair. Angel Stadium is among the worst ballparks in baseball, and Moreno had no immediate plans for much-needed updates. He had the team in an outdated clubhouse, and the Angels' spring training facilities were falling behind the rest of the league.
Kroenke appears to have plans to address that.
According to Forbes, Kroenke is looking to build a new $2.5 billion stadium on the site of the current Angel Stadium.

While details about the project haven't been disclosed, Kroenke is no stranger to massive stadium builds. The Rams' $5.5 billion SoFi Stadium was built during Kroenke's ownership.
If Kroenke elects to keep the team in Anaheim, the conditions of the stadium agreement shape up considerably in his favor.
