Christian Watson's Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers was a roller coaster ride that was frightening at times -- he caught six passes for 100 yards before leaving the game against the Carolina Panthers for the hospital... and then returned to Lambeau Field and continued to play.
So what exactly happened there? As he told Amazon Prime Video's Kaylee Hartung after the Packers' 27-19 win on Thursday Night Football, he was feeling better after he left the game, but the reason he left in an ambulance was to check for internal bleeding after he "was spitting a little blood at first."
And yes, he was watching the game at the hospital as he was getting checked out:
“One of the doctors had his phone out, I was just watching the play-by-play.”

“One of the doctors had his phone out, I was just watching the play-by-play. I couldn’t watch, but I was just watching the play-by-play. Uh, saw [Matthew Golden’s] touchdown. I was hyped. I saw Josh [Jacobs'] touchdown. I was like, ‘Alright, we’re doing something.’ Then it got a little quiet because I was just left in the room by myself for a little while, but eventually they came in and said, ‘Alright, you’re good, you're going back.’ And then that was that.”
What a wild night.
