Now that Mike Tomlin is no longer in the head coaching space for the first time since 2007, the former Pittsburgh Steeler surely has enough free time to start working on passion projects. Though Tomlin is joining NBC's football coverage for this season, there's no doubt that he'll have more time on his hands for other hobbies.
One of those hobbies, according to Tomlin, is video games. Not only that, in an interview with the Today Show, Tomlin revealed that he's an avid gamer and has been working on a long-term project in Minecraft for over a decade now.
In the interview, Tomlin disclosed that he started playing Minecraft, the popular sandbox video game, to connect with his kids when they were young. Now that they're older, however, they don't
play, but Tomlin still messes around in Minecraft on his own and has been working on building a city for 12 years. Talk about dedication!
Tomlin also revealed that his kids do check in with his city pretty often and that they've discussed sharing it publicly for all to see.
