Perhaps the biggest surprise revelation of Mike Tomlin's post-Pittsburgh Steelers coaching career was finding out that he had spent over a decade building a vast, detailed city in Minecraft.
That's right, he spent 12 years (!) building this thing, and now he's given a tour on video that's just incredible. The buildings! The detail! If you're a Minecraft fan, you've got to see this, and even if you're not, you need to see it.
But that had fans -- and one former player -- wondering (probably jokingly): Was this a distraction to a coach who won one Super Bowl? It seems like the answer was: No. Dude amassed a 193-114-2 record and his Steelers teams never finished below .500. Maybe this was his escape that helped him stay calm all those years.
Fans and Le'Veon Bell all made the same jokes about Mike Tomlin's Minecraft city

I bet Mike Tomlin was always bad with clock management because he was too distracted thinking about how he was gonna design his next residential neighborhood 😭😭😭 https://t.co/lwBozqrSDk

No wonder his teams were mid, he was focused on the wrong thing

Mike Tomlin was at work (NFL head coach) day dreaming about going home to obsessively play video games. Just like the rest of us. Unreal. https://t.co/vPgdfjnFfN

You still have to admit: That city is amazing.
