Klint Kubiak gives blunt 2-word response to Brock Bowers' Week 3 questionable tag

Since being the No. 13 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, tight end Brock Bowers has made his presence felt for the Las Vegas Raiders

. However, after missing four games last season and the first two of 2026, there's been an anxious excitement about his impending return. Fortunately for the Las Vegas Raiders, they've more than overcome the stellar tight end's absence, starting the year as one of the league's most surprising 2-0 teams.

Now, ahead of the Raiders' Week 3 matchup with the New Orleans Saints, there's some hope that Bowers could be on the field. He was given the questionable tag ahead of the weekend, and when head coach Klint Kubiak was asked about it, he gave nothing more than a two-word answer.

"I'm optimistic," Kubiak said about Bowers'

Given the Raiders' strong start to the season and quarterback Kirk Cousins' play, it's easy to understand the excitement around Bowers' impending return. The 23-year-old tight end topped his rookie touchdown total in just 12 games last year, finishing with 64 catches, 680 yards and seven scores. He was a reception machine in year one, though, hauling in 112 of 153 targets for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns.
